Again so many folks so un informed.

First, it is a privedge to be embraced by the NY Yankees and Major League baseball. the Yankees are the Nation's most valuable and successful sports franchise. VT is designated home team and their locker room will be the Yankee dressing room

Second, all sports properties of MLB is managed by Major League Baseball and the New York Yankees. The use of any trademarks without the written (and rights $$$) permission of the MLB is extremely profited.

Third, Yankees went out of the way in outreach and $$$ to support the university in the time of need. VT sincerely appreciates it. VT wants to give tribute to them by wearing the trademark for the game at Yankee Stadium. VT does not want to make any money or funds from using the trademark. Its just for the game to express sincere appreciation from the University Board of Visitors and the athletic department for their efforts. Because of this MLB and the Yankees had no problem giving permission for this one time event.

Gosh does anyone remember 2007 and the events in blacksburg??? and the nation came together to support hokie nation. Can't we just not get bias cynical and money grabbing and just allow a moment of just being nice????
